I keep myself inspired with photos, vision board and quotes. I change it up but it helps to gaze at the beautiful Hawaiian sky or read "what would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?" But it occurred to me that a touchstone today is just something that fades into the background tomorrow. You need to mix up the touchstones, change the computer desk, rearrange the office, to keep things fresh.

I'm not taking about a renovation every three weeks, just a couple of little tweaks here and there to keep things alive.

In fact, I think I feel a blog topic creeping into my brain...

Thanks!

~GrahamAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2598004650134967444.post-73978498357261580852009-01-28T12:51:00.000-08:002009-01-28T12:51:00.000-08:00Gotcha. Just making the batistes for these things amazes me. I really love looking at couture gowns. They are moving works of art, the good ones.

ABWC- Oh so right. Your mom taught you to sew. We are going to see some good stuff on Michele Obama I think. it's exciting. I went to an exhibit of Worth gowns a few years back.. I wanted to look inside them. And I don't even sew. It's that's whole making something of cloth that looks so beautiful and works so well in 3-d, not to mention they are just gorgeous. ( As I sit here in corduroys and a sweater. LOL. ) Hope you had fun with your guestsJanice C. Michelle Obama is so tall and lovely, she looks elegant in the things she's worn. He must have been so excited, because he didn't know if she would wear his gown that he'd created for her. Good for him. And good for you organizing things today--I need to follow suit, after a weekend of house guests.A Brush with Colorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07638723986208929476noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2598004650134967444.post-35999329395711875422009-01-26T07:20:00.000-08:002009-01-26T07:20:00.000-08:00Interesting. I was watching the red carpet arrivals before the SAG awards last night and was enjoying some of the drapery and lines on the dresses, was thinking of sketching one, funny you would be writing about it today!ArtistUnpluggedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13580512807760805224noreply@blogger.com
